Overview of the seminar

A revision of the anatomy and function of the shoulder girdle sets the scene for a discussion of scapula/humeral rhythm and the various deviations from 'normal'. Commonly encountered muscle imbalances and the key points of any assessment are covered, including several muscle function and muscle length tests. Corrective exercises, repositioning drills and exercise strategies are discussed.

Pre-requisites

Seminar attendance is suitable for Level 2 instructors, or above, as recognised by the Register of Exercise Professionals.

Those who are not members of the Register of Exercise Professionals are also welcome to attend.
